Hello my fellow brothers and sisters of ACCA. I'm a student of FIA. I just heard a news from a friend that ACCA is changing the rule of FIA exam. Instead of 100% mcq, it will be 70% mcq and 30% written. I think this news is a rumor but I'm still worried. Can someone please let me know what the correct news is?
Worried? you should be happy! Rejoice! with that 30% practice in every exam you actually have a better chance of passing the part 2 and part 3 papers where there are NO MCQs.
On to the point, I have no idea if the rumours are true or not but I hope it is... and you should too. That is if you are serious about completing ACCA and become an affiliate then eventually... a Member
, I have just copleted the FA1,MA1,FA2,MA2 course and giving exams now. So it would be difficult for me if the pattern suddenly change. And the change is only for FIA, not for part 2 and part 3 (I know if there was mcq on those parts, it would have been awesome).
These might be rumors! but ACCA is introducing MCQs for the part 2 papers. from now there will be 20 marks on MCQs and 80 written! I know this because I sat the pilot papers on the new syllabus!!!
